Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, learners should be able to:
  1. Offer buprenorphine for opioid use disorder in the hospital setting.
  2. Identify patients appropriate for and manage a low dose buprenorphine initiation (micro-dosing) for opioid use disorder.
  3. Appropriately treat patients using illicitly manufactured fentanyl and/or xylazine.
  4. Initiate treatment for alcohol use disorder in the hospital setting.
  5. Implement harm reduction strategies for people who use illicit opioids.
