Challenging Cases in Inpatient Diabetes Management - On Demand 2025
Bedside decisions shape outcomes in inpatient diabetes care. In this on-demand 2025 update, synthesize best practices to describe and demonstrate insulin starts and oral regimens; manage steroid-related glycemic swings, geriatric risk, and parenteral and enteral nutrition; and address peri-procedure use of SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP-1 RAs. We also provide equity-minded, lower-cost options that support safer discharge and cut readmissions.
