Regional poster presentations were common, and some students also achieved national presentations and written publications. Five students received awards at regional poster sessions.

Student feedback was highly positive, with learners noting that the course made the writing process less intimidating and filled an important gap in their education. The author is now expanding the program by giving a shorter primer to third-year students, seeking funding for national conference support, and building partnerships with local medical societies to broaden student engagement.
