- <strong>82%</strong> strongly agreed it improved teamwork and communication skills

Qualitative comments also reflected strong engagement, with students describing the experience as <strong>fun, informative, team-building, and a new way to address medical concepts</strong>. Another noted that it created an <strong>engaging learning environment conducive to collaborative problem solving</strong>.

Overall, the project suggests that medical escape rooms may be an effective and enjoyable educational strategy for preparing medical students for residency, especially by reinforcing clinical knowledge and building communication and teamwork skills.
