The group transformed its work into a more formal academic process using tools like an A3 template and needs assessment, resulting in multiple presentations: one internal quality symposium poster, one internal research day poster, and three national conference posters.

A survey after one year found strong support for continuing the framework: 11 of 13 participants responded (85%), and most agreed to continue L.E.A.D. The authors conclude that L.E.A.D helps expand academic development and peer mentorship across a hospital-level team, and that supporting APP scholarship may improve workforce satisfaction and help broaden the academic hospital medicine footprint.
