The program appears to be a promising model for developing an academic pipeline in hospital medicine.<br /><br />Limitations include the small sample size and possible recall bias. Recommended next steps are to expand participation, create best-practice guidelines for exchange visits, protect time for networking, and continue evaluating long-term effects on career advancement.
