They recommend that healthcare systems remain especially vigilant in managing severe asthma during colder months. Further research is needed to better understand why outcomes differ between the Northeast and South and to clarify the role of environmental temperature.<br /><br />A key limitation is that the data were aggregated by region and month, so conclusions cannot be made about individual patients.
