In the first 24 months, 11 participants were selected across two cohorts: 6 physicians, 4 physician assistants, and 1 nurse practitioner. All completed the online modules and both in-person courses. Five participants (45%) completed the image portfolio, and three (27%) completed final exams and earned SHM certification.<br /><br />Early outcomes suggest the program successfully lowered barriers and is helping build a core group of clinicians capable of performing, teaching, and leading POCUS. Graduates are already serving as mentors, faculty at CME courses, and educators for colleagues, residents, medical students, and NP/PA students.
